Wampum - Mary Bancroft Tyrell, 68, of RD 1 was dead on arrival of an apparent heart attack at 11:05 p.m. Dec 15 1979 at jameson Memorial Hospital.
She was born Feb 2 1911 in East Liverpool Ohio to the late Richard and Mary Payton Bancraft.
She is survived by two foster sons, John Dryfuse of Wampum and Thomas Dryfuse of New Castle; two foster daughters, Mrs Joseph (Velma) Fandozzi of New Castle and Mrs Sara Morelli of Greenville; and 17 foster great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 pm today at the Edward A and Donald G DeCarbo Funeral Home, corner of South Mill and Lutton streets. A service at 10 am Tuesday at the funeral home will be conducted by the Rev Ronald Mounts of the Church of God. Interment will follow at Oak Park Cemetery.
