Griffith Hill was the only son of Thomas Abner "Ab" Hill and his second wife, Sarah Jane Dove. (Sarah Jane Dove was the cousin of Ab Hill's first wife, Martha Jane Dove) His death certificate leads me to believe that Griffith Hill most likely died from appendicitis. He was twenty six years old.
