Logansport--Funeral services for Russell Adams, 77, Logansport, formerly of Santa Fe, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Fisher Memorial Home with Dr. E. Clyde Mayfield officiating. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Mr. Adams died today in the Marion Veterans Hospital. He was born Dec. 31, 1891 in Cass County, the son of Corbin and Millissi Reed. He was retired from the Logansport Machine Co.
His marriage was Jan. 17. 1936 in Logansport to Ethel Kile who survives.
Surviving with the widow are two step-sons, Charles Oldham, of Jasper, Mo., and Carl Oldham of Peru; three step-daughters, Betty Whiteside of Tampa, Fla., formerly of Peru, Mrs. Orrin Russell of Everett, Wash., and Mrs. Wayne Cripe of New Waverly; two sisters, Ethel Smith of Logansport and Clara Frank of Indianapolis. 12 stepgrandchildren and 10 step great grandchildren.
