JESSE BEEDLE WAS MY GRANDMOTHER'S BROTHER IN LAW BY HER FIRST MARRIAGE. HIS BROTHER DIED TRAGICALLY IN A TRAIN WRECK IN 1905. JESSE BEEDLE WAS IN THE NAVY AND SERVED ON THE USS MONTANA.

Jesse Beedle, 86, of Logansport,
died at 7:45 p.m. Saturday,
October 30, 1976, at Memorial
Hospital, there.
Born Oct. 20, 1890, in Fountain
County, he was the son of Albert
and Bessie Braachsma Beedle.
He was a retired painter for
Wolf Construction Company and
was a member of the First United
Methodist Church.
Surviving with the wife, Elsie
C., are one daughter, Ruth
Forgey of Deer Creek; three
sons, Harold Beedle of San
Francisco, Calif., Clifford Beedle
of Fort Wayne, and Paul Beedle
of Hawaii; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth
Wall of Logansport and Mrs.
Elizabeth DeArmond of LaPorte;
two brothers, Leslie Beedle of
Largo, Fla., and William Beedle
of Niles, Mich., and seven
grandchildren.
Services were Tuesday in
Logansport with the Rev. Dale
Mendenhall officiating. Burial
was in Ever-Rest Memorial
Park.
