Delbert Eads of Heltonville, IN, died Monday, March 13, 2000, at the Bloomington Convalescent Center. Born on September 16, 1910, in Allen Creek, IN, he was the son George and Stella (Turner) Eads. He married Edith Garrison and she preceded him in death.

Surviving are one daughter, Bernice Sears of Heltonville, IN; two brothers, Basel Eads of Heltonville, IN, and Lester Eads of Bedford, IN; fourteen grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Delmar Eads; two daughters, Gladys and Sylvia Eads; three sisters: Goldie Deckard, Mayme Norman, and Truly Southern; and two brothers, Clifford and Gilbert Eads.

He was a quarry machinist.

Services for Delbert Eads will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 16th, at the Jones Funeral Home with Bro Greg Eads officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
