From the Cartersville American of the 9th inst., we clip the following account of the death of Mrs. R. W. Smith formerly of this county:--Mrs. R. W. Smith of this city died yesterday morning after an illness of several weeks. She was a good woman and bore her long continued suffering with true christian fortitude. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of this city, and before her sickness was a faithful attendant at all the meetings of the church, the Sunday School, and the Woman's Mission Society. She was buried late yesterday afternoon in the city cemetery. The bereaved husband and motherless children have the kindest sympathy of our whole community.
