Lucille H. VOORHEES, of Schurz, passed away Monday (12 Sep) in Reno, she was 72. For over 35 years Mrs. VOORHEES was the ticket agent for the Las Vegas-Tonopah-Reno stage lines in Schurz and also served Schurz as its post mistress for 8 years.
She is survived by her husband Walter; four daughters Barbara BROWN, Joanne CROWLEY, Walita TOM and Vicki VARAIN; son Robert; sister, eleven grandchildren and four grreat grandchildren.
Services Friday (16 Sep) at the Schurz Methodist Church with interment in the Schurz Cemetery.
