She was born 20 Oct 1917 in Schurz and was a lifetime resident.
She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond in 1972.
Mrs. Sammaripa was the head cook at the Schurz Indian School for the past 19 years.
Surviving are daughter, Norma Lessard of Schurz, Ramona Leyva of Sparks and Joyce Jackson of Colorado Springs, CO; sons, Raymond and Reynold, both of Schurz and Loren of Stewart, brothers Irwin and Harold Miller, both of Schurz; 13 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be Thursday Aug 4 at the Methodist Church in Schurz with burial to follow in the Schurz Cemetery.
