Mineral County Native Dies

"Mrs. Nellie Sides Miller, 64, died Friday, 2 Sep at the Walker River Hospital in Schurz following a long illness.
A native of Hawthorne, she attended Stewart Indian School and lived most of her life in Schurz. Surviving are five children; Agnes, Richard, Genevieve and Roy Q and Irwin Miller of Schurz, granddaughter Angeline Quartz of Reno and brother Edwin Brown of Hawthorne.
Funeral services were held at Schurz last Sunday (4 Sep)".
