Max S. Buehler, 84, passed away on April 19, 2009.


Born June 14, 1924 to Charles Edwin and Zelma Shaw Buehler in Ogden, Utah.


He graduated from Wasatch High School and Utah State University, where he received a degree in Education. He worked at Kennecott Copper mines for many years. He served in the US Army. He was a very generous person, loved his sisters as much as he loved fishing and golf.


He is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Schaefer, brothers; Dean Charles, and J. Kent. He is survived by eight sisters; Mary (Dale) Wheeler, Janet (Owen) Richardson, Margery Mahoney and Gwen Smith, Diane (Steve) Thacker, Joan Binggeli, Carolyn (Phil) Ellis, and Madeliene (Clifford) Seegmiller.


A viewing will be held on Monday, April 27, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home (12600 South 2200 West). Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at 10 a.m. (viewing at 9:00) in the Grace Lutheran Church (1815 East 9800 South, Sandy, Utah.
Interment: Bluffdale City Cemetery.
