Services are planned for 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Howe Funeral Home for Virgil Locke, Jr., 47, of Londonderry Rt. 1, who was pronounced dead on arrival Saturday at a Chillicothe hospital after an apparent heart attack.
A native of Pike County, he was a Korean War Air Force veteran, a member of Waverly Masonic Lodge, and an employee of Ware Aluminum Co. at Chillicothe.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Joan McGuire Locke; his parents, Virgil & Esther Hines Locke of Piketon; two brothers, Ronald of Spokane, Wash., and William of Columbus; and five sister, Mrs. Geraldine Arrowood of Waverly Rt. 1, Mrs. Carolyn Davis and Mrs. Phyllis Brodess both of Piketon, Mrs. Madalyn Day and Mrs. Patty Loucks, both of Columbus.
Rev. William Miller is to officiate at services, with interment at Waverly Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call until 9 tonight at the funeral home, where Masonic services are planned at 7.
