Services Thursday for wife of Otto Stein, Rosary Tonight
Mary Stein, 61 wife of Otto Stein, route four dies yesterday evening at 6:30 at St. Johns Hospital. She had been in failing health for the past year.
Mrs. Stein was born August 18, 1882 in Germany and came to America at the age of six years with her mother and her sister. They resided in Atchison, and in a short time moved to Leavenworth County.
On Oct. 3, 1900 she married Otto Stein in Leavenworth.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and the L.C.B.A.
Her sister is Mrs. Martha Finneran, and her half brothers are John Haas, Jarbaia, and Jacob Haas.
Her Children are Clara Wilkerson, George A. Stein, and Otto Stein - Chief Commissary Steward United States Navy, serving in the South Pacific.
