Louis Bark

June 22 - Louis Bark, 78, a lifetime resident of St. Clair county, died Monday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Erwin Pollex, Thornapple street.

Mr. Bark was born near Adair, May 11, 1876, son of the late William and Minnie Bark. He
sailed on the Great Lakes for many years. He and Bertha Baumgarten were married Dec. 24, 1902 and lived in St. Clair a number of years. For the last 22 years they lived
on a small farm on St. Clair Highway. Mr. Bark was ill the last two years. He is survived by his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Pollex and Mrs. Russell Ketchum, both of St. Clair; a brother, William Bark, East China Township; a sister, Mrs. Charles Lipke, Detroit; five grandchildren; and two foster daughters, Mrs. George Emig, Port Huron and Mrs. Cyril Bark, Au Train, Mich.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the T. R. Bower funeral home with Rev. C. H. Siess, pastor of Immanuel Lutheran church, officiating.

Burial will be in Adair Cemetery."
