He died on December 7, 1950, in Manhattan, New York, at the age of 68, and was buried in Bronx, New York. Maude was cremated. Mabel was buried in Honolulu. Ruth's burial was probably with her mother and her mother's husband, Col Frank M Ray, in his monument in a private cemetery in New York.
