HERMAN BUNGE

Herman Bunge, 77, Kiel, passed away early Tuesday afternoon at St. Nicholas hospital.
He was born Jan. 1, 1874, in the town of Rhine, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Gottfried Bunge. On Dec. 21, 1895, he was married to the former Miss Emma Jens of New Holstein, and the couple settled in Kiel. In 1909 they moved to a farm in the town of New Holstein, where they lived until 1936, when they sold the farm and moved to Kiel.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. James (Mariele) Ramminger of Kiel, and Mrs. Elmer (Edna) Schneider of Sheboygan Falls; one son, John, of the town of New Holstein; eight grand-children; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Anna Kaiser of Dale, Wis., and two brothers, Rudolph and Otto, town of Rhine.One son, Jerome, passed away in 1936, and a second son died in infancy.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, at the Meiselwitz Funeral home, Kiel, at 2 p.m, Friday. The Rev. E. L. Worthman will officiate and burial will be made in the Kiel cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the funeral home from 2 p.m, Thursday, until the hour of services. - 1951
