IN MEMORIAM

The funeral of Mrs. A. E. Heywood, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. T. J. Harrison, at Julesburg, Colorado, on Wednesday of last week, and the remains being brought to Table Rock for interment, was held in the M. E. church on Saturday morning, the services being conducted by the pastor, Rev. J. R. Woodcock.

Frances Josephine Mumford was born in Wayne county, Pa., March 16, 1839 being 71 years, 9 months and 20 days old at the time of her death.

Early in life she was converted to God and joined the Methodist Episcopal church, in which she lived a consistent Christian. Her faith in God was always strong, and her last words were: "O, I am going home!"

She was married to Asa E. Heywood April 17, 1860, and to them were born nine children, five of whom died in infancy, the remaining four, with her husband, mourn her departure. The four children are: Bart of Grand Island; E. M. Heywood of Lincoln; Mrs. Wilma Aylor, Napier, Mo.; and Mrs. T. J. Harrison, of Julesburg, Colo., all of whom were present at the funeral services.

The deceased was for many years a resident of Table Rock, she was married here and her children were born and reared to womanhood and manhood in Table Rock, she was loved and esteemed by a large circle of friends and acquaintances, who deeply sympathize with the mourning husband and children in their loss.
