Jacqueline Padalino (nee Mangano) went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 14, 2006. She was born on May 15, 1930 to the late John and Santa Irene Mangano.
Beloved wife of the late Alvin P., who passed away in 1996, she was the devoted mother of Diane Morano and Christine Padalino-Caruso, dear sister of Marie Tedesco, and grandmother to her beloved grandchildren, Nicole and Christie Morano and Anthony and Jacqueline Caruso.
Born in Garfield, N.J., Jacqueline lived there for 34 years before moving to Passaic, N.J., 42 years ago. She was a teacher at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School in Passaic for 17 years. Previously, she was a teacher at St. Anthony's School, Paterson, N.J. for 18 years and a legal secretary for attorney Sol Eigen, Passaic, for 10 years. She was a member of the New Jersey Education Association, and a parishioner of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church. She is interred at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi, N.J.
Jacqueline was a devout Catholic and practiced her faith every moment, touching many lives, both professionally and personally. She was truly a lovely person in every sense of the word.
