Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon, Wednesday, May 27 at the Almelund Lutheran Church for Mrs. Theander Stenberg who passed away at the Edward Bjork home last Saturday, May 25 following an illness of 5 weeks. The deceased was 82 years, 1 mo and 13 days of age at the time of her passing.
Mrs. Bjork was born April 10, 1860 in Ostras Torros Kronobergs lan, Smaland, Sweden later coming to this country where she was married on June 23, 1889.
Left to mourn her passing is 4 daughters, Mrs. Claus Bjork, Mrs. Walter Bjork of Almelund and Mrs. Robert Rudisell of Siren, WI, Mrs. Edward Bjork of Almelund , two sons, Benonie Stenberg, and Elmer Stenberg both of Almelund, 26 grandchildren
and 8 great grandchildren.
Officiating at the services was Rev. Myrvin L. Holmberg, Pastor of the church, and pallbearers were Robert, Roy, John, and Bert Bjork and Ray Stenberg of Almelund and Harry Rudisell of Siren, WI. Burial took place at the Almelund, Cemetery.
