WINTERMUTE--On Thursday morning , December 19, 1889, in this city. Mrs. Emeline B. Wintermute, of heart failure, after an illness of two days. The deceased was born at Sussex, New Jersey, July 15, 1811. Her maiden name was Bartholf. She was married January 26, 1832, to the late Septer Wintermute. The family came to Whitewater in June 1846, and have been among its best known Mr. Wintermute died about five years since. Their surviving children are James, of Bradford, Pa., Peter H., of Muskegon, Mich., Frank W., Mrs. Elizabeth Leffingwell and Mrs. Ella Sprague, of this city. The funeral will probably be on Monday in order that the family may all have time to gather and pay the last tribute to the good, true mother who has left them.
