Lynnville, Tenn., Oct. 22.--(Special.)--Mrs. Kate Fry Clark, aged 70, wife of Dr. M. L. Clark, died at her home here Thursday after a stoke of paralysis suffered on Monday. Mrs. Clark had been in failing health for some time and her death was not unexpected. She was an estimable woman and loved by all who knew here. She was a faithful member of the Christian church and had been since childhood.
Surviving her besides her husband are one daughter, Mrs. Nathan Smith, and one son, C. H. Clark, of this city and two sisters, Mrs. Hettie Morris of Florence, Ala., and Mrs. Glen Zellner of Nashville. Elder Ben Harding of Columbia conducted the funeral at her home. Awaiting the arrival of a niece from Georgia, the remains were not interred until this morning.
