Virginia Joseph Kagey,84, of Silver Lake Road, Dayton, died Tuesday,November 10,1998, at Camelot Health and Rehabilitation Center after not being well for the past two years.
A daughter of the late William and Sadie Lynn Arey Jospeh, she was born June 23,1914, in Harrisonburg.
Mrs. Kagey had lived in Dayton since 1936 after moving from Harrisonburg. She graduated from Harrisonburg High School and attended Madison College for two years. She was a member of Dayton United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.
On NOvember 26, 1936, she married Joseph G Kagey, who survives.
In additon to her husband, she is survived by three sons and their wives, William J and Mickie Kagey of Roanoke, J Robert and Jackie Kagey of Sudbury,Mass and James M and Denise Kagey of Marietta, Ga; seven grandchildren, David Kagey,Jennifer Faison,Steven Kagey, Michael Kagey, Sara Kagey, Daniel Kagey and Anne Kagey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Dayton United Church on Friday, November 13,1998, at 2;00 p.m. with the Rev. Rudy L Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Dayton Cemetery.
