The Hudson and Angeline Ballenger Blankensip family came from five miles south of Jamestown, Russell, Kentucky around the Sewellton area. They moved between the births of two children. Dates moved was between 1 November 1883 and before 16 June 1889.

Cornelius "NEAL" Blankenship was the third child of five and was named after his grandfather Cornelius Martin Blankenship. Neal was born south of Jamestown, Russell, Kentucky. He died November 1, 1943, at his home in Bogata, Red River, Texas of a leakage of the heart. The obituary was published in The Bogata News. Friday, October 1943.

Neal married Effie M. Jackson, daughter of John O. and Alice V. Jackson.

Neal in 1910 was farming with his father in law John O. Jackson. A threshing machine operator and truck salesman in 1917. Neal sold automobiles in 1920. Amusement Park Skating rink worker in 1930. Also a picture show operator.

Annie, the mother, died in 1916.

Neal signed WWI Draft and Registration on September 12, 1918 at Bonham, Fannin, Texas.

Neal and Effie remained at Bonham and were on the census record. Effie's parents were living with the family.

Hudson was living with son Louis Blankenship and family on the 1920 Lewis, Atoka, Oklahoma census. Hudson was not listed not the 1930. HUDSON died 1929 buried at Edhube Cemetery. Edhube, Fannin, Texas.
