IVIS B. WOOD February 20, 1914 - April 13, 2006 Passed away in Antioch at the age of 92 years. Survived by her sister, Coral Sykes and brother, Floyd Baird; loving daughters, Sandra Hart, Karen Duncan; sons, Dennis, Barry and John Wood; numerous grand and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her late husband, Mitchell H. Wood. Ivis, Mitchell and the family spent fifty years growing up in San Leandro, where they made a loving home for everyone there. Ivis lived for the enjoyment of her sons, daughters and many grandchildren. They made her face light up. She loved painting, doll making, cooking and taking pictures of the children, writing poems and traveling with "Mitch" to all corners of America. On Saturday, April 22nd, services will be held at 1:00 p.m. at 2401 Smith Road, Brentwood, CA at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
