Delores Croft Dies
Delores Rodriguez Croft, 50, 230 N. Park, Shelley, former song and dance team member, died Jan. 11 in a Salt Lake City hospital following a lingering illness.

She was born July 27, 1927, in Gallup, N.M., a daughter of Paul and Martha Rodriguez. The family moved to Chicago four years later and entered show business. Her education was through private tutors.

Mrs. Croft performed with her brother and sister in a group known as the Three DelRios. They performed for President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and traveled throughout the United States as a song and dance company.

In 1948 she married Lewis Croft and they moved to Shelley. She was known locally as a seamstress and upholster.

Survivors include her widower of Shelley; two sons, Allan Croft and Robert Croft, both of Shelley; and her mother, Martha Rodriguez of Chicago.

Services were Monday at the Shelley Fourth Ward Chapel, Bishop Lynn Barker officiating.

Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home.
