Age 88yrs mother of A Ashman
Hannah was born in Middletown, CT, to John Hall and Esther Hubbard. She married John Ashmun (often seen as Ashman) in 1785 in Blandford, MA. He died there in 1793. Their children include Amaziah, Martha, Levi, Sophia, all born in Blandford. After John died, Hannah married Daniel Curtis. They lived in West Bloomfield, New York, as shown in the 1800 census. He died there in 1804 (date is according to his findagrave memorial).
Note: two of her children, Levi and Sophia, were baptized after their move to New York as stated in the West Bloomfield church records. This may mean they were the youngest of the four. Hannah moved to Concord (or vicinity), New York, where her son Amaziah became a prominent citizen.

Hannah (Hall) Ashmun Curtiss is not to be confused with her brother David's wife Hannah (Crowell) Hall, memorial 113843609, who is buried in Blandford, MA. Many family trees confuse these two women.
