She was a member of the U. B. church for years and has always shown unwavering faith in her Lord and Master. For many months she has been a constant sufferer yet she bore her suffering with patience until the end.
She leaves to mourn her loss eight children, one brother, Lou Ashba, of Albia, Iowa; one sister, Julia Strong, of Los Angeles, Calif.; twenty-two grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren, and a host of friends.
All of her children but Alice were at her bedside when the summons came and she fell peacefully asleep in Jesus.
Funeral services were held at the Bethel church on Friday afternoon, Rev. Cornford in charge, assisted by Rev. Walls and Rev. Hougham and burial was in the Russell cemetery.
