Adna Duckworth, 79, a farmer of Sandcreek township for many years, died at noon Sunday at the home of Mort Davis, 510 West North street, Greensburg. He had made his home in Greensburg for the past five months.

Born near Columbus on Nov. 23, 1866, he was the son of Elizah [sic.] and Sarah Duckworth. He had spent his entire life in farming and most of his active career was spent in Sandcreek township.

In 1895 he was united in marriage to Eliza Patrick, following the death of his first wife. His second wife died in 1924 and in 1927 he was married to Anna Ellen Hulce, who proceeded him in death on March 8, 1945. Mr. Duckworth was a member of the Mt. Aerie Baptist church at Letts.

The survivors are: Two sons, Paul Duckworth, of Detroit, Mich., and Roland Duckworth, of Indianapolis; a daughter, Mrs. Geneva Baily [sic.], of Mattoon, Ill.; and five grandchildren.
