LETTS WOMAN DEAD AT HOME
Mrs Anna Ellen Duckworth Had Been Ill for Many Months

Mrs Anna Ellen Duckworth died at her home in Letts at 8:15 p.m. Thursday, following an extended illness which confined her to her home for many months.

She was born Feb. 6, 1864, the daughter of Charles and Susannah Huntsinger Atterbury in Illinois. During her residence there she became a member of the Baptist church at Salem, Ill.

She was the last member of a family of ten children.

Her marriage to Adna Duckworth occurred Nov. 17, 1927, and they lived in Decatur county where Mr. Duckworth engaged in farming.

Prior to coming to the Letts community to make their home they resided on a farm south of Westport.

SURVIVORS LISTED
Surviving are the husband, one daughter, Mrs Marie L Uptegraft, of Bluffton, two sons, Charles Wetherford of El Centro, Calif., and Alvin H Crisup of Indianapolis; three granddaughters, seven great-granddaughters; one stepdaughter, Mrs Geneve Daily, of Mattoon, Ill.; two stepsons, Paul E Duckworth of Detroit, Mich., and Rolland E Duckworth of Indianapolis.

The funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Mt Aerie Baptist church and burial will be in the Mt Aerie cemetery. Rev W E Rix will officiate.

Friends may call at the Hostetler funeral home in Westport until the hour of the funeral.
