Abe Flanagan was a local activist and businessman, who worked with Rep. John L. Leflore to bring significant changes to the City of Mobile by filing a case on behalf of some black plaintiffs. Flanagan was Mr. Leflore's campaign manager at one time and attempted to run for Alabama House District 99 after Leflore passed. Flanagan was also the owner of The Stylistic Shop Ltd. formerly in Prichard and Bel Air Mall and Flanagan's Serv Center on St. Stephens Rd.
