Franklin "Budd" Edwin Buxton of San Bernardino, a native of Akron, Ohio, lived in San Bernardino for 54 years, died Sunday at Integrated Health Services at the age of 78. He worked as a aviation inspector for the government for 31 years and as Realtor for 16 years. He served in the Army and was a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Mary, his son, James Thomas of Placentia, his daughter, Mary A. Salley Mower-Strain of Riverside, his brother, Tom of Phoenix, Arizona, his sister, Mary Bozin of Akron, Ohio, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday at Montecito Memorial Park.
