GALLOWAY-GOLDFINCH - On November 5, at St Paul's Cathedral, by the Rev Mr Ewald, Mr John Galloway, farmer, Pahautanui, to Alice, eldest daughter of Mr G. L. Goldfinch.
* Her sister Ruth (11 years her junior) married her husband John's brother Henry (21 years his junior) 15 years later in 1885
