May 14, 2009 Frances Spring Hite, passed away on May 14, 2009 on her 89th birthday. She was the daughter of Herman and Florence Spring. Mrs. Hite was a communicant of St. Daniel's Church and also a member of the Perpetual Adoration and Wisdom People. She was also active with the St. Vincent Happy Roamers and Lyncourt Seniors. She was the wife of Charles F. Hite who died in 1991. She is survived by her son, Thomas and daughter-in-law, Judy Hite of Bridgeport, her son, Robert Hite of Florida; a daughter-in-law, Anne Hite of Liverpool; four grandchildren, Karen, Kevin, Courtney and Jenna Hite; and great-grandchildren, Sadie and Morgan. Funeral services are to be held on Monday at 11:30 a.m. at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home and at 12:10 p.m. in St. Daniel's Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in DeWitt. Calling hours are Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 3111 James Street. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Francis House, 108 Michaels Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13208.
