Son of Adam and Sarah Comer. Sarah applied for a Mother's Pension in 1865. She listed her residence as Pike County, Ohio. Post Office: Waverly. Her husband, Adam, died 6 Feb 1853 or 1863 (illegible, but another document in the file says 1853, plainly). Letters of conservatorship to Mary Edwards, Gallatia, Illinois, 25 Jul 1887. Appointment of Mary Chamness as guardian of Sarah Comer, 25 Aug 1899. Sarah was dropped from the Pensioner Roll in 26 Aug 1900 due to her death. -from pension file on fold3.com
