Mrs. Frank Hahnemann, 86, former Kiel resident, died late Wednesday morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Kilgas, 406 Klein St., Kaukauna, where she had been living the past several months.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Peter Evangelical and Reformed Church, Kiel, the Rev. Vernon Jaberg officiating. Burial will be in the Kiel Cemetery.
She was born Feb. 7, 1872, in the Town of Russell, Sheboygan County, daughter of the late Conrad and Mary Buchmann Maurer. She received her elementary education in the township school. She was married to Mr. Hahnemann Feb. 7, 1895, at Chilton and the couple resided on the Hahnemann homestead farm in the Town of Stockbridge, Calumet County, later in Kaukauna, Oconto Falls, Oconto, and in 1907 located in Kiel. Mr. Hahnemann died in March, 1951. She was a member of the Frauenverein of St. Peter Evangelical and Reformed Church at Kiel.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews. A daughter, Della Mary, died in February, 1896 as an infant. Three sisters and two brothers also preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, 815 Sixth St., Kiel from 2 p.m. Friday to 11 a.m. Saturday when the body will be moved to the church to lie in state until the hour of service.
