Tante Katie sold her house after her husband died and moved to the Altenheim Home in Oakland where she lived until her death. She was a very active person - traveled all around California with a friend she got re-acquainted with after her husbands' death, and every Sunday she would take a bus or drive to San Francisco to attend Church.
