My mother's only sister...

Katherine McClindon was born June 26, 1921 to the late Louise Ruth Osborne and Chester Birth. She received her education in the public school system in St. Louis, Missouri. After the premature death of her mother, Louise, Katherine raised her young sister, Ethel.

Aunt Katherine was a great cook. I remember when she visited us in California one Christmas, and she made the most beautful Jello-Cream Pie!

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Charlie McClendon and her brother, William Gude.

Katherine passed away from complications of Alzheimer's disease at age 87.

She leaves to cherish her memory her only sister, Ethel Louise Gatus, her nieces, Camela, Kamara, Roni, Donna, Sophia, Michelle and Parthannie, her nephew, Brett, and many cousins, other relatives and friends.
