Mrs. Jewell Ewing Bard, aged 73, of Benton died Monday, December 19. She was a member of the Mount Carmel Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, J. A. Bard Sr.; two sons, John A. Bard Jr. of California and George W. Bard of Benton; a brother, T. A. Ewing of Benton; two sisters, Mrs. Alpha Cohrt of Little Rock and Mrs,. Francis Gates of Benton; and six grandchildren.
