Crystal L. Gowdy
Crystal L. Gowdy, 90, Rushville, died Friday at Rush Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 11, 1908, in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Lewis and Azzie (McConnell) Nigh.
She was married to Frank L. Hull, who preceded her in death in 1954. She then married Owen W. (Bill) Gowdy in 1977, and he preceded her in death in 1987.
Mrs. Gowdy was a bank teller for more than 40 years, working in Morristown, Manilla and the former Rushville National Bank.
She was a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church, Rushville.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ron (Jean) Rucker, Frankfort; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Robert (Ruby) Sheppard, Rushville, and Mrs. Phil (Norma) Reece, Knightstown; three grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Todd Funeral Home, Rushville.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John VanNuys officiating.
Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery in Morristown.
