She was the daughter of James and Sarah Bryan Moore.
In her early years she united with the Christian Church at Bethlehem and remained a faithful member throughout her life.
She was married to Ezekiel Bass, a Civil War veteran, January 8, 1865. To this union the following children were born; all of whom survive except one; George Bass of Olney, IL; William Theodore who passed away on April 11, 1895; James Ezra Bass, of Mt. Carmel, IL.
Besides the above named children, she leaves surviving her one sister, Mrs. A.M. Milligan of Lawrenceville, IL; and one niece, Mrs. Blanche Miller of Condo, Sask. Canada; 3 granddaughters, 5 grandsons, one great grandson, and 2 nephews.
Mr. Bass passed away September 3, 1899, and in 1914, she was united in marriage to Samuel Worley of Jasper County, IL, who also preceded her in death.
The funeral services were held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at the Bethlehem Church.
Burial was made in the Bell Cemetery.
