LaVerne Henson, 101, of Arlington, Texas, passed away on Friday March 8, 2019. Graveside Service: 3 pm Friday March 15, 2019 at Milford Cemetery, in Milford Texas. LaVerne was born in Milford Texas on March 19, 1917. She was a member of Travis Avenue Baptist church, enjoyed spending time with her family, her beautiful flowers and garden, and had a passion for serving the Lord. She will be greatly missed. LaVerne is preceded in death by her parents William and Sallie Strength; daughter, Dian; four brothers, and one sister. She is survived by her grandchildren, Elizabeth Scott (Jeff), and John Tucker (Olivia); great-grandchildren, Alex Scott (Chelsea), Garrett Scott, Julia Tucker, Victoria Tucker, and Trent Tucker; great great grandchildren, Kylie and Ava. As well other nieces and nephews and loving family member including step-son, Roger Henson (Kathy); and step-daughter, Eleanor Mason.
