Mildred Delores McCoy Powell, 84, died Friday, 28 DEC 2001, in Pascagoula, MS.
Mrs. Powell was a homemaker and a member of The First Baptist Church of Pascagoula. She attended Unity Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Teague McCoy, Sr. and Sarah Elizabeth "Sally" McCoy; her husband, George Clinton Powell; a son, Charles Clifton Powell; a brother, John Teague "J.T." McCoy, Jr.; and a sister, Sarah Ethel Presley.

Survivors include a daughter, JoAnne Powell Ryder Spears of Pascagoula, MS; a son, Tommy Rex Powell of Theodore, AL; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be tonight from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point, MS. Services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday (Date?) at the funeral home chapel. Burial (date?) will be in Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula.
