Mrs. Sizemore died May 29, 1990, at a Stratford nursing home. She was born June 17, 1907, in Prairie View, Oklahoma, to John W. and Maude Maxwell Abney.

She lived most of her life in the Stratford area and was a housewife and member of the First Baptist Church in Stratford.. Several years spent in OK City, OK in the 1950's.

On Dec. 23, 1931, she and James Nathan Sizemore were married at Coleman. He died May 16, 1974.

Survivors include three daughters, Lois Buff Kingsley, Oklahoma City, Minerva Sizemore Young and Argie Sizemore Oswald, both of Stratford; three sons, Robert Buff, Kenneth Sizemore, Livingston, Montana, Edwin Sizemore, Oklahoma City; one sister, Ruth Spurlock, Lindsay; one brother, Ben Abney, Bakersfield, California; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Bearers are Robert Nessell. Andy Ross, Glen Abney, Ray Aldridge Jr., David Hill, and Steve Whedbee.
