"For he hath said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee." Hebrews 13:5. A native of Sulphur and a resident of Addis, she passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, April 25, 2009, at age 74. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, George W. Dwyer Sr.; four daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Robert Hebert Jr., of Brusly, Cathy and Joseph Stallings, of St. Peters, Mo., Charlotte and Richard Dayries Jr., of Lake Jackson, Texas, and Kim and David Deitch, of Baton Rouge; a son and daughter-in-law, George W. Jr. and Debra Dwyer, of Port Allen; 19 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Deryl "Tiny" Seneca, of Brusly; and two brothers, Ronald M. Carlin, of Denham Springs, and Marc "Milan" Carlin, of Walker. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Raymond and Della Sargent Carlin; and a brother, Robert Carlin. Visitation at Wilbert Funeral Home in Plaquemine on Tuesday, April 28, from 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m., conducted by Dr. Joe Allain. Interment in Grace Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The family extends their thanks to St. Joseph Hospice for their kind care.
