Irene M. Brezoni, age 88, of 3917 S. 18th St. Manitowoc, died Saturday evening, April 9, 2005 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at the First Lutheran Church Chapel. The Rev. Steven Solberg will officiate with entombment to follow at Knollwood Mausoleum Chapel, State Highway 310, Manitowoc.
The former Irene Free was born Oct. 5, 1916 in the town of Newton, daughter of the late William and Lillian Vetter Free. She attended school in the town of Newton and the town of Liberty. On Oct. 3, 1936, she was married to Frank J. Brezoni at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in the town of Liberty. Frank preceded her in death on Aug. 25, 1978. In the past Irene was employed for 33 years at the S.S. Kresge store in Manitowoc. She was a member of First Lutheran Church and the Manitowoc Senior Center.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law: nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law: nieces, nephews other relatives and friends survive.
Relatives and friends may call at the First Lutheran Church Chapel on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc is serving the Brezoni family.
