Roy F. Schelk, 69, formerly of Howards Grove, passed away May 20, 2009, in Eagle River, WI.
Roy was born July 23, 1939 to the late Walter and Helene (Koeser) Schelk.
On September 5, 1959, he married Julie Ann Voss at St. John-St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cleveland. She preceded him in death on May 21, 2005.
Roy is survived by his sons, Michael (Danielle) Schelk of Eagle River, Steven (Kandy) Schelk of Sheboygan, and Charles (Paula) Schelk of Howards Grove, and his daughter Vickie Schelk of Sheboygan. He is also survived by grandchildren, Melissa (Jeff Kernen), Brandon, Trisha, Sabrina, Chelsea, Haleigh, Brittany, Ethan, Trevor; two step-grandchildren, Zach Travis and Chrissy Hernandez, and two step-great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his brothers, Kenneth (Faye) Schelk, Roger (Diane) Schelk, Walter (Verna) Schelk Jr., and Donald (Delores) Schelk, his sisters, Beatrice Grunewald, and Carol Jean (Dennis) Roethel. He is also survived by his in-laws, Eldon Voss of Newton, Ronnie Voss, Betty (Bruce) Bunge, and Bonnie (Gene) Feldmann. Burial at St. John's Kassa Cemetery in Cleveland.
