EVANSTON, WYOMING
Peter Danks, 86, pioneer, resident of Evanston, died Monday night in an Evanston hospital after a long illness.

Born April 26, 1870, in Pennsylvania to Henry and Rachael Jenkins Danks. Family came to Evanston in 1875.

Married Annie Turner, Nov. 14, 1891, in Evanston. She died in 1926. Married Nellie Dannah June 11, 1928, in Ogden.

Member Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Woodmen of the World Lodge.

Survivors: widow, six sons and daughters, three stepsons and daughters. Dewey L., Fred, Elmer, Mrs. Edith Hutchinson, Mrs. Bessie Turner, Mrs. Emma Bunning, Mrs. Virginia Danks, all of Evanston; Harvey, Salt Lake City; Thomas E., Martinez, Calif.; 22 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren: great-great-grandchild.

Funeral 2 p.m. Thursday, Bills Funeral Home, where friends may call Wednesday afternoon, Thursday prior. Burial Evanston City Cemetery.
