Lem P. Fitch Dies on Job at Hospital
Lem P. Fitch
, 69, stationary engineer at Methodist hospital, died suddenly of a heart attack last night while working at the hospital.
A resident of this vicinity 50 years, he came to Omaha 21 years ago from Washington, Neb., where he operated a hardware store. He had been a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows for 30 years, was a past noble grand of Benson lodge, No. 221. He attended Second Church of Christ. Scientist here and was a member of Engineers' Local, No. 38.
Survivors: Wife, Cora: sons, L.E., Earl A. and Harlan B., all of Omaha; sisters, Mrs. Jane Rasmussen, Fremont, Neb., and Mrs. Florence Killion, Omaha.
Fitch, McEachron & Cole mortuary is in charge.

Services for Lem P. Fitch, 69, who died Friday, will be held Monday at Fitch, McEachron & Cole chapel with Rev. E.A. Rowsey of Dundee Presbyterian church in charge. Benson lodge No. 221, I.O.O.F., will have charge at committal services at Forest Lawn cemetery.
