MRS. MINIE PRENTIS, 77 DIED IN St. Louis Apr 23
Mrs. Minie Prentis, nee Mueller, of St. Louis, was born on September 19, 1878 in Germany and died on April 23, 1955 at City Hospital in St. Louis. She came to this country as a small child, and grew up in the Indian Camp community. She was confirmed in the Indian Camp Church.
On February 10, 1898, she was married to Henry Wernex. They had one daughter, Margaret. He preceded her in death in 1911. She was married to Harry Prentis in 1925. Her home had been in St. Louis since 1911.
She is survived by her husband, Harry Prentis, her daughter, Margaret Starkey and son-in-law Harvey Starkey. Also surviving are three brothers, Fritz Mueller and August Mueller of Wright City and Henry Mueller of Treloar; and three sisters: Gustina Starkey of Troy, Charlotte Reinders of Troy, and Armelia Requat of Wright City; five grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held in Immanuel Evangelical and Reformed Church on Tuesday, April 26 at 2:00 p. m. Neiburg Undertakers were in charge of local arrangements. Interment was in Wright City Cemetery.
