MRS. WILLIAM C. ALVEY SR., 80, of 1108 Salem Ave., died at 9 p.m. Thursday at SS. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital. She was the former Cecilia Kippes. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Marie Waddell and Mrs. Thelma R. Ames; a son, William Alvey Jr.; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10:15 a.m. Monday at St. Clement Catholic Church, 5431 Johnsontown Road, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. The body will be at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, after 4 p.m. Saturday.
