She was born Dec. 17, 1909, the daughter of John C. and Nettie Meredith Moore, in Dallas County. She graduated from Thornburg High School in 1926. She married Leslie Oster in Thornburg on Sept. 14, 1932. They farmed in the Webster and Keswick area for most of their life until they purchased the Sigourney Laundromat in 1965. She was a member of the Sigourney United Methodist Church and the Church Women's Circle.
She is survived by three daughters, Betty Miller, Linda Wallerstedt and Judy Davisson; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister, Dorothy Christenson and a brother, David Wesley Moore.
She was preceded in death by her husband on May 6, 1995; a daughter Esther Howe; two brothers, Harold and Wayne Moore and two sisters, Vesta Haus and Mildred Moore.
The funeral services were held Jan. 11 at Sigourney United Methodist Church with the Rev. Danny Lemons officiating. Burial was in Sorden Cemetery, Webster.
